john is a most compelling chap. met him on the cities programme. he lives in jersey city, effectively across the water from nyc and has an ambition to be mayor of the city - a twenty year masterplan to become mayor. john says every decision in his life has been and will be for this.

nanna neilsen and i are interviewing john (and the key people, places around him) on film every two years as the story evolves. we first interviewed him when he was completing his msc at the lse, october 2005. nanna and i hope to see john in jersey city, spring 2007
