fordham street, perpendicular to myrdle street

the unrealised project was to use what was an empty space (a missing terrace) in a row of victorian terrace houses as an outdoor pool club with the little rascals that spend much of their time standing on the corner just alongside

the project was to involve the little rascals in spaying/painting the walls, three quarters high the whitest white, then building a roof just wider than the width of a pool table that could be lowered and lifted when needed, be it for the light in roof or for shelter. the pool table would be bolted into the ground. outdoor pool tables can be bought on ebay for less than £1000. there were specific design elements to the space

the pool balls and the pool sticks would be kept at the shop next door, which they would administer

the whole project would have cost less than £3000

it is now a boarded up building site and the floor you can see no longer exists, having been demolished to build deeper than the street level. i still have the owner of the site's phone number memorised.
